Obituary for Bettie Jo Rook Gullion

Mrs. Bettie Jo Rook Gullion, age 94 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Tanner Medical Center Carrollton. She was born April 20, 1923 in Vevay, Indiana, the daughter of the late James Fredrick Rook and the late Bessie L. Furnish Rook. She was a retired banker with American Fletcher National Bank in Indianapolis, Indiana, a member of the Kappa Kappa Kappa Sorority, and she was Methodist by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Gullion. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Emily & Steve Pedlow of Ellijay, Georgia and Linda & Rick Bohannon of Carrollton, Georgia; sons and daughter-in-law, Mark & Jeanne Gullion and John Gullion , all of Indianapolis, Indiana; sister Helen Marie Lock Nelson, and her husband, Darwin, of Rozwell, New Mexico; grandchildren: Rob Suddarth of Las Vegas, Nevada, Lee Bohannon of Bowdon, Georgia, Julia Anderson of Largo, Florida, Michael Pedlow of Austin, Texas, Amy Prestridge of Carrollton, Georgia, Christopher Gullion of Avon, Indiana, Amanda Davis of Tarpin Springs, Florida, Jamie Hobbick of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Melissa White of Avon, Indiana; sixteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Vevay Cemetery in Vevay, Indiana. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.martin-hightower.com.
