Obituary for Millie A. Smith Perry

Millie A. Perry, age 77 of Carrollton, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018. She was born July 29, 1940 in Spruce Pine North Carolina, daughter of the late Howard Smith and the late Edna Gouge Smith Hitchcock. She worked as a florist with Blossoms and Bows in Douglasville, food service with Carrollton High School and served more than 20 years Kellogg Corp. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne J. Perry of Carrollton; her children, and their spouses, Allen and Sharon King of Douglasville, Kevin and Grisel King of Navarre Beach, FL, Robbie and Gina King of Hiram, Mark Perry of Carrollton, and Matt and Crystal Perry of West Virginia; two sisters, Linda Ledford of Burnsville, N.C. and Kathy Robbins of Lithia Springs; brother, Harold Smith of Burnsville, N.C.; thirteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM from Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Doug New and Rev. John Lemmings officiating. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel Monday, July 23, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
