Mr. Rusty Lou Canant, age 32 of Wedowee, Alabama, passed away on December 5, 2017. He was born February 15, 1985 in Douglas County, Georgia, the son of Barbara Ann Sutton Canant and the late David Glenn Canant. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was employed with Wellborn Cabinet Company. In addition to his mother, Barbara Canant of Roanoke, Alabama, he is survived by his wife, Shelby Glynne Canant of Wedowee; sister, Angela Canant and sister-in-law, Danielle Canant of Belton, Missouri; brother and sister-in-law, Rodney & Melissa Canant of Wedowee; and special niece, Alexa Canant. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rodney Canant officiating. Graveside service will follow at West Georgia Memorial Park with Jimmy Lester presiding. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
