Obituary for Wendle W. Brown

Wendle W. Brown, age 70, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Friday morning, June 30, 2017 at his residence. He was born May 15, 1947 in Carroll County, Georgia, the son of the late Isaac Newton Brown and the late Estelle League Brown. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and had worked over twenty years in drywall and construction. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, James Skinner Brown; and brothers: Garland Brown and Darrell Chaney. Survivors include his wife, Mary Britt Brown of Carrollton; children: Wendy (David) Baskin, Wanda Brown (Donald Armstrong) and Wendell Brown, II (Christy), all of Carrollton; brothers and sisters: Byron (Irma) Brown of Carrollton, Larry (Norma) Brown, Reba Bennett, Joyce Hart, Gerald (Maria) Chaney, all of Florida and Royce (Kathy) Chaney of Ellijay, Georgia; grandchildren: Bonnie Ann (Joel) Eidson, Rusel Brown, Dot (Greg) Thomas, Fred (Kaycee) Baskin, Deven Brown, and Wendell Brown, III, “T. J.” all of Carrollton; three great grandchildren; five nieces, and twelve nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel. Those serving as pallbearers will be Wendell Brown, II, Fred Baskin, David Baskin, Deven Brown, Mark Brown, and Tim Lee. Those seated as honorary pallbearers will be Wendell Brown, III “T.J.”, and Donald Armstong. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 2, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
