Life Legacy


Mrs. Sharon Stone Ginnity, age 44, of Danny Drive, Carrollton, Ga., passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2010.

She was born February 4, 1965 in Carrollton, Georgia the daughter of Sadie Collins Stone and the late Richard Wayne Stone. Mrs. Ginnity was a member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her companion, Jesse Thomas; mother, Sadie Stone; children, Brandy Stephenson (Corey Bates), Jennifer Maynard (Michael Gayo), Kimberly Maynard (Paul Skinner), and Brandon Thomas all of Carrollton; sisters, Melissa Schmitt of Monroe, Terri Johnson and Denise Johnson both of Carrollton; brothers, Chris Stone and Jerry Stone both of Carrollton; grandchildren, Mitchell Gayo, Jason Gayo, Korey Bates and Lacy Skinner; also a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 1 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Bro. Pete Collins & Mr. Shannon Lovelady officiating. Pallbearers will be Shannon Lovelady, Adam Hoover, Justin Hoover, Christopher Johnson, Brandon Thomas, Nick Thorpe, Trent Dickerson, Alvin Gayo, Chris Schmitt and Walter Thrower.

Interment will follow in Stripling Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 4 PM until 7 PM and Saturday from 11 AM until the funeral hour.
