Mr. Ricky Carl Musick, age 52, of Clem –Lowell Road, Carrollton, passed away Friday February 26, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Musick was born December 8,1957 in Carroll County to Doris Eason Crawford and the late Harold Musick. Mr. Musick worked for a number of years for the Carroll County Fire Department Station # 12 and also for John Bleakley Ford Dealership in Lithia Springs, Ga. Mr. Musick was former deacon of New Lebanon Baptist Church and is a member of Rotherwood Methodist Church. Besides his father Mr. Musick is preceded in death by a brother Robbie Musick.
Survivors include his wife Kay Cantrell Musick; sons and daughter in-laws Jamie & Beth Musick of Villa Rica, Adam & Beth Musick of Carrollton and Jonathan and Kayla Musick of Roopville; Brothers Randy and Melba Musick and Ronnie and Teresa Musick all of Carrollton; Sisters Rita and Lee Bowman of Carrollton and Rhonda and Ronnie Wright of Whitesburg; Mother and Father in law Bill and Sue Cantrell of Roopville; five grand children Austin, Bailey, Katie, Madason and Mason. Funeral Services will conducted on Monday March 1st at 2:00 PM from New Lebanon Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Scott and Rev. Jimmy Henry officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 until 9 PM. Messages of condolences may be sent to the family at www.martin-hightower.com.
