Mr. Thomas Edgar Walker, age 91, of Jupiter, FL., formerly of Carrollton, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010. He was born December 28, 1918 in Carrollton, Georgia the son of the late William Singleton Walker and Fanny Jane Walker. Mr. Walker served his country in the United States Army Air Corp. Later he retired from Eli Witt as a supervisor after 10 years of service and was a Baptist by faith. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Ruel Walker, Rogers Walker, Essie McLendon, Davis Walker, Mildred Merrell, Jessie Walker, Willie Walker, Rayford Walker and Roy Walker. Survivors include his wife, Jennie Sirois Walker; sons and daughters in law, Ron & Janice Walker of Conyers, GA., and Gary & Beverly Walker of St. Augustine, FL.; brother, Adrain Walker of Atlanta; also 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 11 AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Emerson Lyle, Mr. Dumah Walker and Mr. Gary Walker officiating. Music will provided by Frank Shoppe and Charlene Wiggins. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Bo Walker, Kevin Walker, John Walker, Greg Walker, Brian Walker and Doug Walker. Interment will follow in Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5 PM until 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Hospice Care. Messages of condolences may be sent to the family at www.martin-hightower.com.
