Biography
Mrs. Virginia “Ginny” Neal age 69, of Harriett Lane, Whitesburg, Ga., passed away May 7, 2011. She was born December 15, 1941 in Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late Frank Donaldson and Margurie Lucille Williams Donaldson. Ginny was a retired purchasing agent with Tanner Medical Center where she worked for 19 years. She had a strong love of music and loved performing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald E. Carter. Survivors include her husband, William E. “Bill” Neal, Jr.; her children, Jason L. Neal of Whitesburg, Cena & Rolland Filmore of CA., Tina & Richard Duke of Carrollton and Danny David of CA.; sisters, Patricia Ozburn of Douglasville, and Jeannette Kidd of FL.; also 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. A memorial balloon release will be held at Tanner Medical Center purchasing department at 5:30 PM May 10, 2011, to celebrate Ginny’s life. In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel. Messages of condolences maybe sent to the family at www.martin-hightower.com.
