Mary Ann Hubbard, age 62, of Carrollton, Georgia, formerly of Talladega, Alabama, died February 19, 2008 at home. She was born January 30, 1946 in Talladega, Alabama to the late Helen Winfree Hubbard and James G. Hubbard, Sr. Ms. Hubbard was an elementary school teacher in the Talladega County School System. She taught at Idalia & Winterboro Schools for 27 years. She was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church of Carrollton and a former member of Talladega First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her long-time friend, Patricia Browning; sister and brother in law, Martha Helen (Hubbard) & Philip C. Smith of Cape Canaveral, Florida; brothers and sisters in law, James G. & Geaniel Hubbard, Jr., of St. George, Utah, and Robert W. & Ginny Hubbard of Tuscaloosa, AL.; also two nephews and three nieces. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 2 PM at Talladega First United Methodist Church with Rev. Karen Kagiyama and Rev. James Haskins officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Gary & Carol Bachus, Wallis Schuessler, Randy Tankersley, Lewis Hobbs, Jeff Wood, Luke White, David Browning, Nancy Tidwell, Mandy McCormick of Altus Hospice, and Zeta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. The family will have a time of fellowship following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Susan G.
