Obituary for Wesley Andrew "W.A." Dingler

Mr. Wesley Andrew “W.A.” Dingler, age 70 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Saturday morning, May 12, 2018. He was born December 6, 1947 in Carroll County, Georgia, the son of the late Melvin G. Dingler and the late Thelma L. Hunt Dingler. He retired from West Georgia Gate and Door, and had previously worked for Southwire for more than twenty years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, having served as a Military Police during the Viet Nam Era. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William David Dingler. Survivors include his son, Tim (Sheila) Dingler of Carrollton, daughter, Cris Dingler, also of Carrollton: three grandchildren: Callie (Justin) Jordan, Michael Barrino, and Eli Barrino, all of Carrollton; and two great-grandchildren: Reghan Jordan and Ryann Jordan, both of Carrollton. In keeping with the family’s wishes, the body will be cremated. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of The Stewart House, 102 South Street, Carrollton, Georgia, with Rev. Keith Jiles officiating. . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org. or to Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
