Obituary for Helen Elizabeth Edmonds

Helen Elizabeth Edmonds, age 90 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018. She was born April 17, 1928 in Stella, Missouri, daughter of the late Gottlieb Barlow and Fern Jessee Barlow. She was a 4th grade teacher for more than 10 years with Perry Elementary in Oklahoma. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gene S. Edmonds; and brothers, Harold Barlow and Edgar Barlow. She is survived by her two children, Terri Parmer, and Michael Edmonds and daughter-in-law, Kendra Edmonds all of Muscadine, AL; sister, Mary Clark of Perry, OK; and two grandchildren, Alexandra Shwedo and Patrick Shwedo. Memorial service will be conducted Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 1:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Bryan officiating. Her cremains will be buried in Macedonia Cemetery in Stella, Missouri in September 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Red Cross at www.redcross.org .
